its my first camping trip ever with friends in a lake…
what should i bring for entertainment…..
food???
how about clothes?? how many? what it is?
should i ask my friends what they bring so it won’t be the same?
camping gear??? i have no idea on this…..

What are some funny camping pranks can one do to a group of dude friends and girlfriends.

Nothing terrible like ruining their clothes and camping gear. its just stupid and you’re just gonna have to deal with it when you get back home.

Something clean, like plastic spiders and worms. Alien costume and murderer costumes.

Something that would scare the bejesus out of my friends.

I am going on a camping trip with this program and they’ve giving me some gear. But the hiking pack and the back pack is the problem. How will I be able to check that in? I don’t want a lot of baggage because that’s money we don’t have.

Are there any limits to what I can fly with? How can I fly with a hiking pack? What can I bring as a carry on? Can I put liquids in my luggage like shampoo,lotion,conditioner, perfume? Can I bring Tylenol and Midol as a carry on?

I’m getting ready for a 3 day camping trip while on this dual sport ride http://www.dirtytires.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2
I expect overnight temps to be in the 40′s to low 50′s. Town is pretty close by so I may not bring cooking gear. What I will bring is a tent, sleeping bag, warm change of clothes, collapsible ice chest, shower gear, a few bottles of water and a couple snacks.

For a trip like this, where space is limited, what else would you bring along?

I want to buy all the essentials of camping like a tent,good insulated sleeping bag, back pack, boots, clothes, mini gas stove etc. to go on a good camping trip. How much will this cost? Are there any stores/ things to get recommendations? Any tips on buying? Anything that is not really needed but good to have?

So in two weeks I’ll be flying to a month long camping trip. But I have no idea how to fly with the hiking pack, sleeping bag, sleeping pad, backpack, and my clothes and like 4 water bottles. And I still need rain gear, batteries, 2 pairs of gloves, and a wool/fleece jacket. I’m flying American Airlines (sucks) and I was wondering if you could help me estimate everything. Thanks so much!
