It's Friday!!!!
- TGIF! Well, Lil Bro is not saying TGIF because he will be getting a root canal in about 5 hours. I'm actually impressed that while i type, he is sleep on the futon behind me. Many of you may remember that when we scheduled this procedure last time he chickened out. Looks like Lil Bro is feeling brave today.
- Speaking of teeth. I'm overdue for a cleaning, so i called my dentist to schedule an appointment. I thought i was pretty flexible when i told the woman that i can do an 8 a.m. appointment, 9 a.m. or 1 p.m. But she told me i probably wouldn't get in until May -- unless someone cancels! My response was: "May?! As in the month of May? As in 7 months from now?!" Seriously!? When James called a few weeks ago he got in within 2 weeks. Whatevs!
- I watched Orphan the other night. I love me some scary movies, but i'm picky. I need more than gore and tricky camera angles. I want a semi-plot. And Orphan had it all for me! I highly recommend. You gotta love a movie that makes little kids swinging look freaky as H-E-Double Hockey Stick.
- I'm on the Winter Celebration Decorating Committee at work. Anyone who knows me is probably laughing. I don't have an artistic bone in my body. Well, maybe writing, comedy and wittiness are artsy fartsy, but i'm not crafty. I will never subscribe to Home & Garden magazine and my daughter better not be counting on me to make her wedding dress -- or anything. But i'm on the committee! Wish me luck and pray that my co-workers don't end up sitting at foil covered tables eating bologna sandwiches surrounded by poorly decorated pine cones!
- Yesterday someone cut off James' catalytic converter from his truck while it was parked in the lot at one of the nursing homes he was treating patients at. Seriously?! What jerk face cuts off the catalytic converter from someone who is giving seniors physical therapy? Whoever did it will not be getting a Christmas card from us this year. (Stay away from the Del City area -- the police said they've had a string of these in parking lots lately).
- What song is ReRe jamming this week? "Shake It" by Metro Station. This is usually not my kind of jam, but we dance to it in zumba and it makes me smile.

I too don't have a crafty nerve cell in my body! My husband went through a spell for several christmas' where he thought it was hilarious to wrap his gifts in foil... *SIGH*
Shake Shake, Shake it Shake it! Ron loves that song...I told him not to tell anybody LOL.
For the committee I have some advice! Just listen when they talk and shake your head up and down like Hillary Clinton! If anyone asks what you think, you can say so & so has a great idea, let's do that! You better blog about this, when it happens too!
I wish with all my being to be crafty but I cant get the hang out it.
