Weekend recap:
My weekend started Friday night at 6:30, when i met four of my girlfriends in the lobby of the local Holiday Inn. Even though we were staying only one night (checking out by 11 a.m.), we had to get one of those bellboy carts to load all of our stuff on. For those of you who don't tip bellboys, shame on you. Those carts are way harder to push than they look. T. Marie and I almost took out guests in the hallway. But in our defense, the cart was packed with luggage, blankets, pillows, bags of snacks and four large pizzas. So we had a our work cut out for us.

Once we got to Room 410 the real fun began. First we set up shop, aka spread out our grub. Our grub consisted of the above mentioned pizzas, homemade carmel corn (thanks Alexis), chocolate covered Ritz crackers (my specialty), peanut butter cups, sour patch kids, Cheetos, Capri suns, etc. I think we even had fruit -- but no one remembered until we were checking out the next morning.
We munched, and then swam (we broke the myth that this is dangerous). And then we returned to the room to watch Dirty Dancing while playing the Twilight board game T. Marie brought. We were distracted during the game because we had all forgot just how HOT Patrick Swayze...i mean Johnny...was.
We finished the night off with a classic, Footloose. Amazingly, i had never seen the movie. Yeah, i knew the story, and knew the music, but i had never actually seen the movie. I loved it! Though i will admit that Ren (Kevin Bacon's character) was not a good dancer -- no one was in that movie. The dancing in Footloose does not compare to the dancing in Breaking 2, The Electric Boogaloo
But what is?!
When Footloose ended, we did what any women between the ages of 27-32 would do, we did our best rendition of the famous Footloose dance. This clearly was not a good idea, because about 10 minutes later there was a knock on our door. Apparently our neighbors did not think it was appropriate to act like Ren and Ariel at 1 a.m. and decided to send hotel management. Party poopers!
The weekend did end there. Saturday morning, James and I packed up the dogs and the tent and headed to Lake Arbuckle (about 2 hours south of Norman). Friends and family thought we were crazy for going camping during a "heat advisory" but we aren't afraid of triple digit weather! And we found a great spot with good shade. We swam, chilled, played Phase 10. It was good times.

Yes, your mathmatical equation would definitely apply to a great weekend. :)
i know you and math.... do you even know what the answer would be?
Looks like you had a great time! And now I think I'm going to go rent Footloose. I haven't seen it in forever!
I'm proud of you for having a fire extinguisher with you. :-)
That does sound like a fun weekend!
I can't believe you had never watched Footloose! It's a classic! And yes, Patrick Swayze was hot. And Breakin' 2: Electric Boogaloo totally rocked!
@cris: no, i have no idea what that would be!
@redhead: i must admit, that is not a fire extinguisher. it's an air pump -- to blow up our lake toys! hahahaha.
